Overall Purpose Of The Job:

Totake overall responsibility for the medical equipment in our Beijing facility/sand oversee the end to end supply chain process for medical equipmentrequirements. This encompassing safety, sourcing, product selection, demandplanning, quality, inventory and on-going maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage end to end supply chain process and ongoing maintenancemanagement (scheduled and emergency) for medical devices and medical equipmentrequirements.

2. Serve as a subject matter expert for medical devices andequipment management.

3. Develop and maintain processes to ensure compliance related tokey medical supply chain requirements such as quality control, storage and distribution.

4. Demonstrate expertise in contract negotiation and costmanagement.

5. Lead strategic supplier relationship management to continuallyidentify process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.

6. Maintain relationships with various business functions acrossthe organization including medical, dental, lab, imaging etc. to understandtheir current needs as well as future business planning.

7. Lead supplier selection and pre-qualification process

8. Conduct quality control activities

9. Develop an information sharing network regarding medicalproduct safety and risk management

Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Bioengineering (Bachelor of Supply Chain management may be considered if experience is proven to be strong in the technical areas of medical device management)

2. Minimum of 3yrs working in medical equipment procurement or related field in China

3. Good command of English, Chinese both written and spoken

4. Experience in sourcing medical devices and equipment, medical logistics and supply chain systems, supporting assessments and implementation of medical supply chain management improvements.

5. Knowledge of developments/trends within the medical device/equipment industry and applicable laws and regulations

6. Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills

7. Ability to do shift work

8. Computer competency

9. Good communication & organizational skills

10. Ability to function as a team member

11. Responsible& self-disciplined

Travel / Rotation Requirements:

Not routine to this position however may need to support other locations remotely.
